A life underwater

Ray: A Life Underwater from Danny Cooke on Vimeo.

A while back I read an article in DIVE magazine about 75 year-old Ray Ives, a veteran commercial diver, who is the subject of a short documentary film. At the time, I didn’t watch the film and forgot about it. But luckily, just the other day, it appeared on my screen by coincidence.

In the film, Ives tells the story of his professional life through the many artifacts he collected over the years and still keeps in a container in the marina.

I was really touched by the beautiful photo portraying this gentle man, who despite his age still loved to dive, so I had to post it here. Watch it, it’s a must see!

Kudos to the makers of this movie.
